For the past period of twenty-four months, the Philippines has become a magnet for extreme metal bands to visit and play live shows at. With legendary extreme metal acts such as Angelcorpse, Vader and Incantation setting the stage on fire with their killer performances during their visit at the Pearl of the Orient; the Filipino extreme music aficionados have had a great stint of top-notch metal artists entertained us this past two years in a row.
This year, another influential extreme metal band will visit the Philippines to share to us the Ancient wisdom of Prophetic Revelations in the present reality. I am talking about the revered Dutch progressive death metal with jazz fusion quartet, Pestilence.
Pestilence will first land South of the country, playing in the realm of Davaohell, this June 5th as they share the stage with local underground metal acts Lapida, Cebu‘s Astarus and Menteryo.
